Downloading books to your MP3 player at home is easy and free with the new link on our webpage! But time is limited; this is a one year experiment paid for by the Idaho Library Commission with federal grant funds from LSTA. I thought it sounded like a great idea but I sure was not crazy about learning more technology. I could not believe how simple it was. It took all of five minutes to learn. I borrowed one of the libraries ten MP3 players because I owned an Ipod which wouldn't work with the free books, set my account up in the library so I could access the database from home, and found a seven hour lecture on the archeology of Troy. Now I realize that is not everyones cup of tea but I was delighted driving back and forth to work and putting in my treadmill time. I am ready to find another title from the 2500 books listed in the database. Come on it to the library and ask us to get you set up today! And if you have already tried it, let us know what you think. Karen
