Children's Services

Welcome to the Children's Room where young people will experience a sense of joy and wonder by exploring the world through their library. The Children's Room and librarians provide a positive experience by maintaining a wide range of materials for young patrons to check out and presenting quality story times, clubs, and other special programs for children.

Story Times are in the meeting room located by the front door.

Bouncing Babies (ages 0-2) story time will be on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m.  This is a lapsit program where the children and parents/caregivers are interacting with one another during the story time. We will share rhymes, songs, and books that are best suited for babies. These activities will help enrich the communication between the baby and the parent/caregiver, help entertain, and be soothing. This is a sharing program where everyone sings and chants and enjoys the books together.
