New New New: Consumer Reports on line from Portneuf's homepage!

A one month trial subscription to Consumer Reports has been added to the EBSCO databases. Just follow the directions in the center of Portneuf's homepage to access the latest information. If you like having access to Consumer Reports from your computer please let the librarian's at Portneuf know. If the database proves to be popular it will become a permanent subscription and will always be available through the EBSCO link on the right side of the page.

Changes to homepage

Three of the Databases have been moved on the homepage. Heritage Quest, the popular genealogy website, can be found with the databases offered by the Idaho Commission for Libaries under the LiLI Databases on the top right of the page. Instructions to find it are front and center on our homepage.

Road Warrior, the newest database, that is great for travelers and students doing country reports, is now listed at the bottom of the right column.

New Travel and Country database you can access from home

We have added an exciting new database to our collection. It is called Global Road Warrior and it has great travel information as well as all the pictures and maps kids will need for their country reports. Next week they will be adding receipts to each country. Right now their map logo is in the middle of our homepage. Click on the blue "Global Road Warrior" lettering and it will take you to the login page. Use 83202 as your barcode login and give it a look see. We would be interested in your feedback in a week or so after Qwest brings back our DSL.
